Upolu island

Upolu - is the capital island of Samoa in the South Pacific. There are no many good beaches. The main thing here is that it still has the spirit the real Polynesia. As for disadvantages we may note that you will be charged some fee to access any significant attraction, - no matter would it be a beach or a waterfall inside the island. Hotels [edit]

The island has a good choice of hotels, but overall prices are very high. You can save a little, if you stay in the so-called fales. These are privately owned guesthouses in villages.

Fly to Apia international airport (APW). Next hire a taxi or take a bus.

When to go [edit]

The best time to visit Samoa is a dry season from June to September.
