Toau atoll

Toau is an atoll to the east of Rangiroa Atoll, French Polynesia. There is no airport, no decent beaches, nor even a village. However, "sea farmers" from neighboring atolls are making some business here. Inner lagoon of the atoll has good spots suitable both for swimming and snorkeling. So this is rather a place for those who travel by private yacht or catamaran - to make a short stop and move on to another destination. Shore and seabed: sand, stones. [edit]
