Thaa is a remote southern atoll in Maldives. The tourist infrastructure is still little developed here. So it is possible to find many uninhabited
islands - beautiful and unspoiled. But in general, this is not very interesting and not very beautiful atoll by the Maldivian standards. Shore and seabed: sand, stones.

Hotels [edit]
As for now,
COMO Maalifushi is the only island-resort on the atoll. The cost of a room starts form US$1300 per night. And this is definitely not what we expect from such a remoted destination.
There are also few guesthouses on local islands (from US$60 per room). These are good options for a budget segment, if you are not afraid of expensive domestic flight.
How to get there [edit]
Fly to
Maldives international airport (MLE). Next take a domestic flight to
Thimarafushi airport and get to your island by boat. Full transfer from Male and back costs US$250/200/100 for adult / child of 2-11 years old / infant.
It is possible to get to private islands by a seaplane. Round trip fare is about US$700 for adult, US$350 for child from 2 to 11 years old, free for infants below 2 years old.
When to go [edit]
The best time to relax on the beaches of Thaa atoll is a dry season in the winter half of the year.
