Tenggol island

Tenggol is a small island to the south of Kuala Terengganu town in Malaysia. There is single beach only. It suffers from problem of strong low tides exposing rocky sea bottom. However, swimming is still relatively good. Diving and snorkeling are the major island's attractions. Three nights diving package is the most popular option among the visitors. Hotels [edit]

Tenggol Coral Beach Resort is the most luxury hotel on the island. It is located in the north end of the beach. However, rooms' conditions are still quite basic. There are also few other properties on the beach including The One Tenggol Island Resort and Tenggol Island Beach Resort.

How to get there [edit]

Fly to Kuala Lumpur international airport (KUL). Next get by domestic flight to Kota Terengganu airport (TGG). Then get by taxi to the pier of Kuala Dungun town, and get by speedboat to Tenggol island.
