Sardinia is an Italian island with the best
sandy beaches in the entire Mediterranean. North and south of the island are most developed for tourism. Eastern beaches are also great, but without crowds of people. Beach and seabed: sand, stones.

Hotels [edit]
The island is pretty big, so choose a hotel located close to your favourite beaches. During high season, hotels in Sardinia costs 1.5 - 2 times higher than in mainland Italy. We advise to book a room in advance.
How to get there [edit]
Fly to one of three airports:
Olbia - Costa Smeralda Airport (OLB),
Cagliari Elmas Airport (CAG),
Alghero-Fertilia Airport (AHO). Next by taxi, or by bus, or by train.
When to go [edit]
The best time for a beach holiday in the island of Sardinia is a warm season from July to September. Sea water is the warmest in August, but there are lots of tourists that time.
