Procida is an island being the nearest to Naples, as well as the smallest one of the Phlegraeans. There are good
beaches, as well as Old Town with colored buildings. However, the life is concentrated around the three main marinas, which are very popular among the international millionaires. There is the islet of
Isola di Vivara in the south-west, but it's just a rock, - nothing interesting. Shore and seabed: sand, stones.

Hotels [edit]
Procida has no many accommodation options, but there are not too many tourists as well. Large resorts are not presented here, which is more like an advantage, - at least when you are in Italy.
How to get there [edit]
Fly to
Naples international airport (NAP). Take a train to
Pozzuoli station and get by ferry to Procida island. Next get to the beach you need by taxi or by bus.
When to go [edit]
The best time for a beach holiday in the island of Procida is a warm season in the summer half of the year.
