Omekang islands
Ultimate guide (December 2024)
Omekang is a group of small islands in the south of Palau. Main local attraction is the famous Long Beach being exposed during the low tide only. It is possible to walk far into the ocean along a sand spit looking quite like sandbanks of Maldives or Polynesia. So this is some kind of a tropical paradise, but without picturesque palms. Anyway, this place worth a visit. So when choosing a boat tour, you should ask in advance whether they plan to make a stop here. Shore and seabed: sand, stones.
