Nassau is the main island of the Bahamas in the Caribbean, connected by the bridge with smaller Paradise island in the north-east. In Nassau, there is a great choice of accomodation options to suit every taste. The only thing you won't find are the budget hotels, - the cheapest room start at $100 per night. As for the most remarkable resort, it is a famous Atlantis, which looks more like a huge water park.

How to get there [edit]

Fly to Nassau international airport (NAS) or get by cruise ship from West Palm Beach.

It is best to move around the island by taxi or by the rental car. In addition, there are few bus (so-called jitney) routes in the popular coastal areas.

When to go [edit]

The best time to travel to the island of Nassau is a dry season in the winter half of the year. However, the summer is also good. Since sea water is much warmer, and there are no crowds of tourists.
