Mitiaro island

Mitiaro is a small island in the Cook Islands. It's not quite clear, why Air Rarotonga flies here, - sure not for tourists. There are no beaches, nor any notable attractions on the island. As for palms and churches, these are common for the whole Oceania. The place is so non-touristic, that even the airport doesn't have any kind of building, - just a lonely runway. Hotels [edit]

There are some hotels on Mitiaro island. However, no one knows about it. Seabreethe is probably the only hotel, - or maybe just a restaurant. So before you visit the island, it is worth to contact the hotel owners. But it will be hard to find their contact details.

Fly to Rarotonga international airport (RAR), next fly to Mitiaro airport (MOI).

When to go [edit]

The best time to relax on the island of Mitiaro is a dry season from June to December.
