Mallorca is an island in the Mediterranean. It's the main center of a beach tourism in Spain. There are good beaches, as well as many interesting sights. Though Mallorca is considered to be a tourist destination for budget travelers, hotels are generally expensive. Interesting accomodation options should be booked at least six months at advance.

How to get there [edit]

Fly to Mallorca international airport (PMI). To move around the island use buses and trains.

Mallorca can also be reached by ferry from the mainland and from the neighboring islands. But in most cases it will be cheaper and faster to get by plane.

When to go [edit]

The best time for a holiday on the beaches of Mallorca is a warm period from July to September. As for the sightseeing, the best are spring and autumn.
