Lofoten islands
Ultimate guide (December 2024)
Lofotens is a group of islands located beyond the Arctic Circle in Norway. It is a place of marvelous beauty with excellent hiking and even with some
beaches - with white sand looking like Maldives. You can walk forever in a romantic mood. There is no Old Town, nor any notable attractions - except for the northern nature. Probably, you may be interested in bridges between the islands, sunny polar night in the summer and the northern lights. So the place is definitely worth a visit. Shore and seabed: sand, stones.
