Lizard Island is the northernmost island of
Great Barrier Reef in Australia. Tropical beaches, great snorkeling in the heart of the Great Barrier Reef, and all of this in a safe civilized country. This is really an outstanding place, though not unique. Shore and seabed: sand, stones.
