San Bernardo islands

San Bernardo (Islas del Rosario) is a group of islands near Cartagena in Colombia. It is an important tourist destination, but you should understand that not all of the islands are very good. Hotels [edit]

On the islands there are no many hotels, and only few ones are available for the online booking. Minimum rooms' fares start at US$50 per night, but you should be ready to pay US$300-500 to get a good room.

How to get there [edit]

Fly to Cartagena international airport (CTG). Next take a tour to the islands in one of the local towns (Cartagena, Tolu, Rincon, …). Some excursions include a visit to the beach of Playa Blanca, but this wonderful place deserves its own daily trip.

When to go [edit]

You can relax any time of year on the beaches of San Bernardo Islands in Colombia. The period from August to October is a relatively rainy season, but even that time the weather is generally very good.
