Isla La Tortuga is an island in the Caribbean Sea of Venezuela. This is the only available option, that has nothing common with Los Roques archipelago or with Margarita Island. As for beaches or attractions, it is not so good like islands noted above. Most of Tortuga island is rocky desert. However, there are still good white sand beaches, - especially near Chelonia Resort. There are also mangroves in the southeast, as well as neighboring islets with good snorkeling. There are always just a few tourists in Tortuga Island. So this is a great destination for wealthy tourists looking for something special. Shore and seabed: sand, stones.
