Isla de Cubagua island

Isla de Cubagua is a small islet located near the major Margarita Island in Venezuela. Good beaches are available only in the northeast of the island. These are the beach of Cubagua Lodge, as well as an independent beach of Monumento I love Cubagua located just nearby. In general, the island is rocky with poor vegetation. Cubagua Lodge is an eco-lodge with rooms' rates starting from US$50 per night. Conditions are basic. But this is still a very nice spot.

Fly to Margarita International Airport (PMV). Next get by ferry.

When to go [edit]

Feel free to relax in Isla de Cubagua island any time of year. It is always warm on the island, and there is no pronounced rainy season. In addition there are no hurricanes on the island.
