Isla de Coche island

Isla de Coche is a small island located to the southeast of the major Margarita Island in Venezuela. There is an opinion that, unlike Margarita, this is quite like Maldives - with heavenly beaches. You should not believe it. In reality, there is just one beach being rather mediocre by the standards of Margarita. Well, the sand is white, while sea water is clear. But there are just a few palms. And definitely, it doesn't look like the real Maldives. In general, the island is rather depressing being almost without trees. If you think about daily trip from Margarita, it will be much better to take a ferry to Barcelona town for about US$20 for the return.
