Huahine island

Huahine is an island in French Polynesia being one of the closest to the capital island of Tahiti. Not to be confused with the popular Hua Hin beach resort destination in Thailand! There are no luxury hotels on the remoted motus. However main island has a good choice of nice beaches. Please note that this is a relatively non-tourist spot. Huahine island has a good selection of guesthouses with rooms' fares starting from US$100 per night. Unfortunately, most of these are located very far from the best island's beaches.

How to get there [edit]

Fly to the airport of Bora Bora (BOB), next fly to Huahine airport (HUH). There are also direct flights from Tahiti island, as well as from some other islands.

When to go [edit]

The best time for a beach holiday in Huahine island is a dry season from March to October.
