Havelock - is the most popular island in the Andaman Islands. Contrary to popular belief, local
beaches are not so good. Also, you are unlikely to meet the elephants swimming in the sea. Shore and seabed: sand, stones.

Hotels [edit]
The island has a lot of hotels for every budget. The cheapest accommodation options are poorly presented in online booking systems. In high season, all hotels should be booked in advance.
How to get there [edit]
Fly to
Andaman Islands International Airport (IXZ). Next take one of the numerous ferries from Port Blair to Havelock Island. Usually it is difficult to buy tickets, as well as to get to the ferry. So try to buy tickets in advance (at the port, in a travel agency or in the hotel), and choose more expensive boat.
