Great Exuma island

Great Exuma is a big island in the south of Exuma group, Bahamas. There are a lot of good beaches on the north coast, but the most interesting are small islands to the north. Sandals Emerald Bay is the best hotel on the island with a superb beach. However, you can easily find cheaper accommodation options with room's fares starting from $100 per night.

How to get there [edit]

Fly to Nassau international airport (NAS). Next fly to the Exuma airport (GGT). If you want to take an island's taxi, you should call it in advance, because it's hard to find a taxi on the streets.

When to go [edit]

The island of Great Exuma has excellent weather all year round. In winter there is a dry season, but in summer the sea water is warmer.
