How to get there [edit]

Fly to Nassau International Airport (NAS). Next fly to Eleuthera island to North Eleuthera Airport (ELH) or to Governor's Harbour Airport (GHB) (there are also some international flights to these airports).

It is also possible to get to Eleuthera island by ferry. For example Bahamas Ferries serves routes from capital Nassau island to ports located in Eleuthera island: Governor's Harbour, Spanish Wells and Harbour Island.

Small islands (Harbour Island and Spanish Wells) located near the main Eleuthera island can be reached by local water taxi ($5 per way).

Any time of year. Try avoid the rainy season in the summer. The strongest rains are in June, August and September.
