The Free Beach Guide
This is a Muslim island, so it is allowed to swim and sunbathe in a bikini only on the west beach, which is remoted from the place where local residents live. We recommend to respect local traditions and not to walk around the village in a bikini. Note that this is a very liberal rules, as bikini is strictly prohibited on most of other islands inhabited by locals. There are no cafes, nor restaurants on the island. There are three small shops with a limited choice of fruit, cookies, chips, drinks and household goods. Therefore, we recommend hotel meals (fullboard - $ 35 per person per night). As elsewhere in the maldivian islands inhabited by the locals, alcohol is not sold, and it is strictly prohibited to drink it. Attention! Much more islands of Baa atoll in the Maldives can be found on the page of our [a href="http://www.beach-on-map.com/baa-atoll.html" descr="beach project"].
