Cerf Island

Cerf Island is a small islet near the main airport of Seychelles. You can really feel like an island here. Since it is possible to walk quickly almost anywhere. You can also kayak to the neighboring uninhabited islands - including sandspit on the Long Island. There are complains about noise of diesel generator located in the major Mahe Island. Cerf Island Resort is a four star property with rooms' rates starting from US$400 per night. This is a great option for the money. There are also few other hotels on the island starting from US$150 per night: Fairytern Chalets, L'Habitation Cerf Island, Villa de Cerf, Takamaka Beach Villas and La Fortresse.

Fly to Seychelles international airport (SEZ). Next get by ferry or by plane to Praslin island.

When to go [edit]

Feel free to travel to Seychelles any time of year. The nature is more beautiful in the rainy season from October to April. While the dry season will give you more sunny days.
