Cayos Cochinos islands

Cayos Cochinos is an archipelago in Honduras, - also known as Hog Islands. These islands are a National park, and don't suffer from destructive human activities. Hotels [edit]

The Big Island (Cayo Cochino Grande) has a few hotels, which, however, are not presented in many booking systems.

How to get there [edit]

Fly to Roatan international airport (RTB) or fly to La Ceiba airport (LCE). Next take a boat to the islands of Cayos Cochinos.

Many travel agencies in La Ceiba and in the Roatan Island offer daily trips to Cochinos including a visit to one or few islands.

When to go [edit]

The best time for a beach holiday on the Hog Islands is a dry season from February to September.
