Luxury northern shore of the island is mostly occupied by premium beach hotels. East of the island is mainly dominated by cheap accommodation options.
How to get there [edit]
Fly to
Singapore Changi Airport (SIN). Take a taxi to
Tanah Merah Ferry Terminal. Next take a ferry to
Tanjung Pinang port of Bintan island. The ferry goes 2 hours per way and costs about SGD 60 (round trip). Don't forget that you will get to another country.

The best time to visit the island of Bintan is a dry season from February to September.
