Barbuda - the second largest island in the country, hidden in the shadow of its bigger brother -
Antigua island. There's really not much to do here, but
best beaches are found on Barbuda. And there are no much people here. Beach and seabed: sand.

Hotels [edit]
"Good value for money" is not about Barbuda accomodation options. You can choose either expensive luxury resort, or cheap basic room in the Codrington town. Sorry, but intermediate options are not available.
How to get there [edit]
Fly to
Antigua International Airport (ANU). Next fly to
Barbuda Airport (BBQ).
There are only old planes flying between Antigua to Barbuda, so we recommend
Barbuda Express boat (5 days a week except Monday and Wednesday). The boat departs from St. John's (Antigua) and takes 90 minutes per way.
There is no public transportation on Barbuda. You should arrange with locals to deliver you where you need, or simply rent a car. Keep in mind that if you stay at Codrington town, it's too far to walk to the main beaches.
When to go [edit]
The high season is from November to May. This time, there is a comfortable weather, the maximum number of tourists and high prices in hotels. Period between June to October is a hurricane season, - and the best time for budget travelers.
