Banta island

Banta is a small island located near the famous Komodo Island in Indonesia. Most visitors come here as part of a combined boat tour - including watching Komodo dragons. But if compared to Komodo, there is nothing interesting in Banta island. It will be much better to spend the whole day in Komodo. As for Banta Island, it has rather mediocre beaches and no dragons. There are no hotels in Banta Island, while overnight camping is prohibited. The nearest hotels can be found on the neighboring Sumbawa island.

Fly to Bima airport (BMU). Next get by taxi and follow by boat.

The best time to relax on the beaches of Banta island is a dry season from April to October.
