Antipaxos island

Antipaxos is a small island in the west of Greece being known for its outstanding beaches. In fact, these are only two relatively acceptable beaches - scenic, but overcrowded with tourists. As for the rest of the coastline, it's just rocks and pebbles. Of course, it is totally beautiful. But to be honest, many European regions may offer something like that. Hotels [edit]

There are no hotels in Antipaxos island. The nearest hotels are located a little to the north on the neighboring island of Paxos. Rooms' fares start from US$100 per night. In fact, this is a very expensive destination. In most cases it will be cheaper to fly to Cuba or to Thailand, and to enjoy cheaper tourist infrastructure.

How to get there [edit]

Fly to Corfu international airport (CFU). Get by ferry from the New Port to Paxos island, and next get by another ferry from Gaios port to Antipaxos island (30 min). Last boat from Antipaxos to Paxos leaves at 5 pm.

The best time for a beach holiday in Antipaxos island is a warm period from July to September.
