Alphonse island
Ultimate guide (December 2024)
Alphonse is a remote island located to the southwest of main Seychelles International Airport. In fact, it is a real mini atoll looking more like Maldives, - but with Creole local people. Beaches are good enough, but still rather unremarkable by tropical standards. However, atoll's house reef gives additional opportunities for fishing and snorkeling. So this is a great exclusive island destination being quite different from the rest of Seychelles. It is mainly focused on ocean fishing though. Shore and seabed: sand, rocks.
