Ahe Atoll
Ultimate guide (December 2024)
Ahe is a small atoll located to the northeast of Rangiroa Atoll, French Polynesia. It's quite like most of the neighboring atolls. But still, the beaches are slightly better than average local standards, - though sea bottom is rocky. In addition, exploring the lagoon is easy due to its small size. The main local attraction is fishing - both inside and outside the lagoon. The hotel will also offer you a picnic on an uninhabited island, lagoon tour, as well as an excursion to the Kamoka pearl farm. It's not worth not to buy pearls, since all of these have large plastic ball inside. Shore and seabed: sand, stones.
