Abaco Islands - one of the most secluded islands in Bahamas. Located in the north of the archipelago. Though local
beaches are not the best in the country, they are quite good. Shore and seabed: sand.

Hotels [edit]
Most hotels are located in small islands (Cays), located just north of the main island. The average price level is very high - as elsewhere in the Bahamas.
How to get there [edit]
Fly to
Nassau International Airport (NAS) or fly to
Grand Bahama International Airport - Freeport (FPO). Next fly to
Marsh Harbour Airport (MHH) of Abaco island (there are also some international flights to this airport).
It is also possible to get to Abaco island by ferry. For example
Bahamas Fast Ferry serves route from capital Nassau island to
Sandy Point port located in the south of Abaco island.
Small islands located near the main Abaco island can be reached by ferry services of companies
Alburys Ferry and
Green Turtle Ferry.
